A Little Extra Love for Your Premium Merino: Our 16.5μm superfine New Zealand Merino wool is a gift from nature—as soft, pure, and delicate as a newborn’s skin. Because it is so wonderfully fine, it naturally loves a little extra tenderness during bath time to keep its shape and cloud-like softness. Please follow these gentle steps to care for this precious piece:
- A Gentle Hand Wash is Best: To keep the fibers beautifully plush and prolong its life, we warmly recommend a quick, gentle hand wash in cool water (under 30°C). Just a light soak and a soft squeeze is all it takes!
- If Using a Machine (With Extra Care) : If you’re short on time, please treat it to the absolute gentlest setting—a dedicated 'Wool' or 'Delicate' cycle with cold water only. Don't forget to turn it inside out and pop it safely inside a mesh laundry bag to protect those fine ribbed stitches.
- Treat It to Wool Detergent Only: Please only use a mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent specially made for wool. Standard detergents, stain removers, or fabric softeners are a bit too harsh for these delicate fibers and can affect their magical breathability.
- No Wringing or Twisting: After washing, please resist the urge to wring it out. Instead, gently press the garment between two clean, dry towels to lift away excess water.
- Laundered with Love, Dried Flat: Please lay the garment completely flat on a drying rack or a fresh towel in the shade, away from direct sunlight. To keep the fine ribbing perfectly in shape, avoid hanging it while wet, as the heavy water can stretch it out.
- Keep Away from the Dryer: Our merino loves the fresh air but is quite afraid of the tumble dryer! High heat and friction will cause it to shrink and lose its signature softness.
